this a russian chopper not an american apache.

Seen one shot down in Angola 1988 .. the SADF took it out with there version of the S.A.M .

Unlike the apache though this has armor plating making it one of the best helos ever made in my opinion.

Not only Mil 24 Hind, but Hind F2. Notice the paired 23 millimeter cannon on the starboard fuselage, replacing the usual swiveling turret. which allowed a swiveling targeting head to be mounted in place of the usual turret housing.
